Samuhik Yoga Session held at B.V.M. (USN) « 21/Jun/2018

Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind. It helps manage stress and anxiety. Keeping in mind such benefits, our respected Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi ji in 2015 proposed to observe 21st June as International Yoga Day which aims to create worldwide awareness of benefits of yoga. As per guidelines given by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana organized 4th International Yoga Day in its premises today. The school Principal, Mrs. Bandana Sethi, school staff and students dressed in white, enthusiastically participated in ‘Samuhik Yoga Session’ under the revered guidance of Sh. Balmukand Ji. Various asanas (Trikonaasan, Taarasan, Bhujangasan, Vajrasan, Shavasan Shanshank Asan, Shalabh Asan etc.) and pranayams (Anulom-Vilom, Bhramri etc.) were performed. He specially emphasised on dhyaan – a journey from outer world to the inner self. He also apprised one and all with the positive and dynamic  effects of yoga as it ensures maximum health benefits in minimum time.
After a session of one hour, everybody pledged to make yoga an inseparable part of their routine life. Sh. P. C. Goyal ji (Secretary, B.V.M. Trust) Sh. Manoj Gupta ji (Joint Secretary, B.V.M. Trust) graced the occasion. Sh. P. C. Goyal Ji advocated to add yoga regime and breathing techniques in regular life.
